Real Madrid has identified Harry Kane as their top target to replace Karim Benzema this summer.

The sudden departure of Benzema has left Real Madrid in need of a new striker.

Kane has one year remaining on his Tottenham contract and has yet to make a decision about his future.

Real Madrid has also considered other options such as Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan, and Kai Havertz from Chelsea. Madrid has a great admiration for England’s record goal scorer and are optimistic that their previous relationship with Spurs will aid their pursuit.

The exits of Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio, provide a significant boost to their wage budget.

Real Madrid is currently in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund for the potential signing of England midfielder Jude Bellingham.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is not keen on selling Kane to any Premier League rivals this summer. Reports indicate the transfer fee could rise to over £100 million.

The 29-year-old has scored an impressive 280 goals in 435 appearances for Spurs.
